Marking Period #2

Go to hillcrestlibrary.org – The Color of Water link

1.    Choose any of the topics, except #6, from the category, “Essays and Discussion Topics.”  Write a four paragraph essay (see the paragraph link).

2.    Memoir – edited and typed (see the writing process link).

Notes:

This marking period begins with the chapter “Shul.”

All notebook entries will be placed on a large post-it in the classroom.

All other assignments will be placed on the library website.

Writing Grade:

Writer’s Notebook – Talk Aloud Questions - 20%

Workstation Activities – 20%

Book Reports – 20%

Exams/Essays – 20%

Memoir – 20%

It is your responsibility to make up missed work.
